THe crochet pattern for the Mickey Mouse kleenex box cover was great, but sometimes the ears want to fall over, any sugguestions to keep them up??
ReplyDeleteHello. I never came across that problem myself. Is it the ears themselves that are floppy? If so, I would try to make your crochet stitches tighter. If need be, you could switch to a smaller size crochet hook and add a 6th row of stitches (hdc 2 times in first stitch, 1 time in the next 4 stitches). If the entire ear is falling over, try sewing a larger area of the base of the ear to the box. This will help to anchor the ear a little better. Also, if you sew from both directions...from the back of the ear to the front and then from the front to the back...it will help to stabilize the ear.
DeleteI hope this helps. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
